Dental implants allow you to enjoy a smile without any gaps, whether you have lost a single tooth, multiple teeth or your entire upper or lower dental arch. Implants can also be used to create a secure and stable foundation for dentures.
The entire implant process is carefully planned and explained by your team at Cygnet House Dental Studio, so that you benefit from a fully replenished smile and improved dental function.
A dental implant acts as a replacement root for your lost tooth. The three components of a dental implant are comprised of a tiny titanium screw that is placed into the jawbone, an abutment which is fitted onto the screw and finally a crown (a ceramic prosthetic tooth) which looks and functions like a natural tooth.
The end result is a replenished and functional implanted tooth which can last a lifetime as long as you care for it properly and maintain a good standard of oral care.
Mitchell trained in implants at the Implant Academy under the tutorship of Dr. Avik Dandapat who operates from Harley Street and his centre of excellence in Reading and also Dr Nilesh Parmar who operates two highly regarded specialist implant clinics in London and was voted one of the most influential young dentists in 2018. Mitchell graduated from the Implant Academy with a Distinction, and was the only student to do so in 2018’s cohort.
We use only high quality implant systems from 2 major manufacturers, namely Straumann and Megagen who have very impressive published papers and statistics to back up their implant systems, this ensures that parts for your implant based teeth will be available for years to come; you do not get that certainty with cheaper implant systems.
