Regular appointments with our highly experienced and friendly dental hygienist will help to remove the build-up of plaque from the teeth and gum line. She will provide a thorough scale and polish of your teeth, to leave them feeling fresh and stain free. She will also spend time with you to help you have the knowledge to keep your teeth and gums in good health at home.

Poor dental hygiene can cause many problems, including:

We recommend seeing our hygienist at least twice a year or four times a year depending on our assessment of your own personal dental needs.  During these appointments our hygienist will clean your teeth, examine your mouth for many dental issues and can refer you back to Mitchell if she has any concerns and wishes for him to see you to diagnose or plan any particular care you may require.

The hygienist is also able to:

• Recommend different techniques or products that will help you look after your teeth and gums at home, which we stock here for your convenience.
• Clean and polish your teeth to restore a bright smile.
• Offer smoking cessation advice.
• Provide advice on your diet to improve your dental health.
• Use our specialist equipment, we term the “Spraycleaner” to safely and gently remove deep stains on your teeth, such as from smoking, coffee, and wine etc.
